- 30 Aug 2012
K&N testing of the 57-2575 has shown an estimated increase in horsepower of 11 horsepower at 4600 rpm and 13.8 lb-ft of torque at 3250 rpm on a 2007 Ford Expedition with a 5.4 liter engine. Testing on a 2010 Ford F-150 with a 5.4 liter engine resulted in an estimated gain of 12.4 horsepower at 4600 RPM. Extra power for towing and extra torque for getting starting or getting up that hill is an addition welcomed by many Ford owners and K&N customers. The entire 57-2575 air intake system is also backed by K&N's Million Mile Limited Warranty so it should last longer than your truck or SUV. The 57-2575 air intake system includes a custom heat shield that isolates the air filter element from the warm air generated by the engine. The air filter is placed in the path of fresh outside air. Cooler air results in better performance and power. Installation usually takes 90 minutes or less and only uses a few simple hand tools. K&N's step by step installation instructions offer illustration and direction to make this as easy as possible. Take a look at the K&N 57-2575 Air Intake Installation Video to see how easy installation is for yourself. The video covers installation of K&N air intakes 57-2575 and 63-2575 as they are almost identical.
