2011 to 2016 Charger, Challenger, and Chrysler 300 Cabin Air Filters from K&N

Modern MOPAR (MOtor PARts) still stands for Chrysler Group's replacement parts division, but where the current buyers of Chargers, Challengers and Chrysler 300s are concerned, it can also mean "More Outrageous Performance [and an] Awesome Ride". Like the muscle cars of the 1960s and '70s, this generation of full-size sedans and coupes is the biggest and baddest on the road. Buyers clamored for the power and the glory of today's retro muscle cars and production of Charger and Challenger models for 2016 was doubled.
The standard versions of the Charger and Challenger share a 6.2L or 6.4L, V6 or V8 hemi, eight-speed automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive. The 300 starts with a 3.6L V6 with 292 hp, and goes up to a 5.7L, 363-hp option. Then, true to tradition, there is a dizzying array of packages available to elevate performance and comfort. The buyer can build it his way as track-ready racer, or couch-like cruiser, and anything in between. There is even a 2016 limited edition "Plum Crazy" paint package for the Hellcat model, reprising Dodge's 1970 purple hue that became attached to the "Mopar or no car" slogan. Further along the package road, the Charger has a convertible option; the Challenger and 300 have a sunroof option, great for those bright spring and summer day drives. What should not be optional for all models and all occupants is clean, breathable air, the kind you get through a well-maintained cabin air filter. Is there is a package for that? Yes, available from K&N. The VF2027 reusable, washable cabin air filter is the logical next step when that Hellcat has flown for a year or about 12,000 miles. A replacement cabin air filter not only helps passengers breathe easier, it protects the air conditioning and heating systems, which on these muscle cars are, well, muscular. Located on the passenger side, the filter is easily accessed from under the hood, through a panel near the windshield. It is a straightforward job that takes only minutes.
K&N replacement cabin air filters are made of a special high-flow synthetic material in a large-surface-area design, held by a durable polyurethane frame. The electrostatically-charged media traps not only dust and dirt, it helps slow down the entry of mold, spores, mildew, and even bacteria. The VF2027 can be cleaned more frequently if desired. All it takes is a thorough rinsing with clear running water and a spritzing with K&N Refresher fluid. It will last the life of the car, but comes standard with a 10-Year/Million Mile Limited Warranty. The K&N VF2027 replaces these part numbers: The following vehicles can use the VF2027 Replacement Cabin Air Filer: You can view all the cabin air filters that K&N makes for the Charger, Challenger and Chrysler 200 at the Cabin Air Filters for the Chrysler 300 page, Cabin Air Filters for the Dodge Challenger page, and the Cabin Air Filters for the Dodge Charger page.
