K&N’s Cam Reimers Earns First TORC Pro Lite Win At Finale in Crandon, Wisconsin

K&N Air Filters sponsored Pro Lite racer Cam Reimers picked up his first TORC Presented by AMSOIL career victory at the World Championships Season Finale in Crandon, Wisconsin. Cam Reimers had secured a solid top 5 finish the day prior but everyone in the pits could see that it wasn’t enough for him. The small town Iowa boy had plans to go out with a bang, and as it turns out, he did just that in front of a record breaking number of fans at Crandon International Raceway. The Off-Road Championship (TORC) Presented by AMSOIL is one of the nation's premiere short-course, off-road truck racing series. In 2015 Cam Reimers entered his 3rd season in the TORC PRO Lite class. Before trying his luck at racing Pro Lite trucks, Reimers totaled over 250 Moto Wins, 115 Overall Wins, and 21 Championships over his 14 year career in Motocross, including the National ATV Motocross Series. Having tasted success before and backed by a long list of achievements, Reimers has anxiously awaited his turn at the top of the TORC podium.
The World Championships Season Finale at Crandon International Raceway begins with the famous land rush start; which made both drivers and fans restless from the excitement. In the Pro Lite race, the trucks barreled into turn 1 at speeds over 100mph; and it was Cam Reimers in the #21 Liquid Wrench Pro Lite truck out front. The K&N filters equipped McGunegill Engine Performance powered #21 truck beat everyone to the first turn as Reimers set sail. Cam Reimers had to endure several cautions and subsequent restarts, but he was able to remain in command securing the checkered flag despite some late race rain. “Words still can’t describe the feeling of picking up my first ever win. I had so many friends and family there to witness it; I couldn’t think of a better way to end the season,” said K&N Filters sponsored driver Cam Reimers. “Not only is this my first win, but it is the first victory in off-road for a majority of my sponsors.
