NASCAR Next Driver James Bickford Wins Again at Stateline with Dominant Victory
- 15 Jul 2015
James Bickford drove as if the 1/4 mile track in Post Falls, Idaho is his home track after winning his second consecutive race at Stateline Speedway. Bickford made a late pass in last year’s race, leading only four laps, en route to his first career NASCAR K&N Pro Series West win. This year the 17 year-old driver from Napa, California left no doubt that his was the car to beat in the NAPA Auto Parts Toyota 150. James Bickford, a NASCAR Next member, led 151 of 157 laps to pick up his second victory at the challenging .25-mile Stateline Speedway track. It was also Bickford’s second K&N West win in his 21st NASCAR K&N Pro Series start. Although his No. 6 Sunrise Ford/ Interstate Plastics/Eibach Ford was strong all night, Bickford had to hold off Noah Gragson and Gracin Raz on a green-white-checkered finish to earn the victory. Ryan Partridge was fourth and Blake Williams completed the top five. The championship race has grown increasingly tight in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West. Chris Eggleston leads the charge, barely, by one point over Noah Gragson. Noah is a mere two points ahead of Gracin Raz in third. The next stop for the K&N West series will be at Iowa Speedway as East meets West for the second time in 2015. |
