New K&N 57 Series Intake Kit Helps 2003-2005 T-Birds Soar
- 4 Jan 2005
RIVERSIDE, CA - The new Ford Thunderbird probably embodies retro styling better than any other current car. However, a slightly anemic powertrain makes the car's performance pale somewhat compared to its appearance.
K&N has done its part to help make the 2003, 2004 and 2005 T-Bird run as good as it looks thanks to a new 57-Series Fuel Injection Performance Kit (FIPK®). This cold-air system (Part No. 57-2562) imparts dyno-proven horsepower throughout the T-Bird's powerband.
This 57-Series FIPK® features three main aerodynamically engineered components: a famous K&N High-Flow Air Filter, a metal heatshield and an optimally routed polyethylene intake tube. The kit also includes illustrated instructions and all mounting hardware so that the average Thunderbird owner can bolt on the 57-Series FIPK® in approximately one hour-no drilling required.
Environmentally friendly, the K&N High-Flow Air Filter can be repeatedly washed and re-oiled with a K&N Recharger® Kit, saving landfills from disposable paper filters. Service intervals are as much as 100,000 miles (depending on driving conditions), and the filter is covered by the K&N Million Mile Limited Warranty®.
K&N also offers a washable/reusable replacement panel-type filter for 2002-2005 Thunderbird (PN 33-2266).
