- 15 Jan 2007
The new 2007 Vauxhall British Touring car Vectra was unveiled at the Autosport International Show at Birmingham, UK. The Vectra Race car will participate in this year’s Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship and K&N Filters are the product of choice.
Vauxhall switched to Vectra after a series of evaluation testing. As the BTCC moves to new FIA Super 2000 technical regulations in 2007 Vectra came out ahead of Astra and Corsa.Italy’s Fabrizio Giovanardi and VX Racing’s Tom Chilton will again be part of the official team. “The official Vauxhall BTCC Team will once again use K&N Engineering Products,” said Ian Burdis of K&N Filters (Europe) LTD. “K&N Filters have quality filtration and are part of an efficient package for custom designed race cars.”
K&N Engineering has a good relationship with Vauxhall, a multiple title-winning VX Racing outfit. The first stop for Vauxhall’s multiple-title winning VX racing outfit is at Brands Hatch in March.
