World of Outlaws Sprint Car Racer Continues Despite Mechanical Problems
- 9 Mar 2007
World of Outlaws sprint car racer Jeremy Campbell is preparing for a new round
of action on March 16 at Houston Raceway Park in Baytown, Texas.
Campbell completed stops in Arizona at United Sports Arizona Race Park and Manzanita Speedway over the past weekend. The team had a 31st place trial run, despite a new motor under the hood.
During the race Campbell started in 26th position. He advanced several spots in the opening laps, but was forced to leave the event due to mechanical problems.
On Saturday, Campbell was ready to race at Manzanita with a different motor under the hood. He started fifth in the heat race and secured 19th place in the A-main. He brought the car home in 18th place.
Jeremy Campbell Motorsports uses K&N products on its sprint cars. “Our K&N Engineering Filter works great all the time,” said Campbell. “Our engines stay clean and work well on the tracks. We never have to worry about problems on the track with K&N.”
The Monroe, Michigan resident said he hopes to finish the season in the top ten.
