Harrison Brothers Racing is ready for the next round of the Fuchs Silkolene British Supersport Cup at Oulton Park in Cheshire. Richie and Jonathan Harrison are happy to end an enforced two round sabbatical after two
separate motorcycle crashes at two earlier races.

As HBR enters the second half of the season the riders hope to improve their standings. “We have added a brand new full race exhaust system to my machine,” said Richie Harrison. “My bike has a whole new torque feel at the back wheel than we had before.”

Both riders have struggled throughout the first half of the season with their 121 bhp Superstock spec machines. Many of their competitors have motorcycles with more bhp and HBR has to work harder
with their engines to get to the grid. The good news is, Richie and Jonathan
both have improved their personal best lap times at every race this season.
“The HBR 2007 Yamaha with K&N Engineering products feels great,” said Richie. “I’m starting to gel with the bike and am gaining back my confidence.”
K&N Engineering has supplied Harrison Brothers with parts since 2005. “We know with K&N our bikes are working at their best,” said Richie Harrison. “We never have a problem with any K&N products or services. Due to the excellent products provided by our sponsors we go to the race track knowing we can race the bikes to the best of our ability.”

K&N Performance Air Intake Kit for 2006 Ford F-150
K&N Engineering, Inc. has made a performance Air Intake Kit
57-2569
for 2006 Ford F150 pickups with the 4.6L V8 engine. K&N tests have shown a horsepower gain of 8.48 @
4775 RPM with the K&N
57-2569 Air Intake. The Mass Air Sensor has been placed
into the K&N Intake Tube for optimum performance, said K&N Technical Development
Supervisor Kirk Swanson.

K&N's
57-2569 rotationally molded polyethylene Intake System uses a
Round Tapered Universal Air Filter (RF-1041). "This air intake replaces the
restrictive stock air filter housing," said Swanson. "The heat shield isolates
the filter element from engine heat. This results in a cooler air charge going
into the engine."
It takes less than an hour to
install this kit and the lifetime K&N Air Filter
performs for up to 100,000 miles before service is required depending on driving
conditions. This air intake system is street legal in all 50 US states for the 2006 Ford F150 pickup with 4.6L V8 engine.

The SU-8005 is engineered to fit into the Suzuki's factory air box.
Follow the provided instructions to remove the stock gasket from around the stock air filter and install the K&N air filter by lining up the two locator bumps on the back of the K&N chrome top air filter.
This K&N air filter can be used in a stock machine with no modifications required. Follow the installation instructions to ensure the K&N air filter is seated properly for many seasons of use.

There is a proud shelf in the Bell Family home where two gentlemen named “Wally” rest proudly. Sisters and junior drag racers Heather and Allison Bell earned the prestigious trophies during the Junior Dragster Eastern Conference Finals in Bristol, Tennessee.
Heather and Allison Bell each earn a Wally at the Junior Dragster Eastern Conference Finals
The finals only host the best-of-the-best. More than 600 racers vie for team spots from Florida to Canada in the Eastern division. Team No. One consisted of the ten best racers from each track in the East. Heather and Allison Bell both made Team One. Each member of Team One received a Wally and a $300.00 U.S. Savings Bond for their combined efforts on race day.
“We left Hershey, Pennsylvania for Bristol, Tennessee with high hopes,” said Heather Bell. “There was rain the first two days. We were finally able to get in our cars and get serious on Friday.” First round consisted of the 13, 14, 15, 16 and 17 year old age groups. Neither sister won in their age groups, but both contributed to team points.
Team Bell’s home track is Maple Grove Raceway in Pennsylvania. “It is one of the toughest tracks on the East Coast,” said Bell. “We took three teams
from Maple Grove to Bristol. After the first round at the Junior Dragster Eastern Conference Finals, we still had seven of our racers in the competition. Our team went on to win the conference championship with the biggest margin of victory ever.”
Team Bell uses K&N Engineering products. “K&N helped us make it to the championship round,” said Bell. “No matter what track conditions we come up against, our cars are very consistent with K&N. Our engines are also protected with K&N.”

K&N's Tamra Bradley presents Greg Anderson with K&N Horsepower Challenge low qualifier award at Bandimere Speedway
“How can anyone win without K&N,” said Anderson. “We all use K&N products out here and are proud to do it. The K&N intake scoop and air filter combination is important to the Pro Stock Category. It’s a big advantage to get the maximum amount of air to the engine in this class.”
Anderson also earned points at the Mile-High Nationals toward qualification for the 2009 K&N Horsepower Challenge, a special race-within-a-race bonus program for the top Pro Stock drivers in the NHRA POWERade Drag Racing series. A few weeks earlier in
Norwalk, Ohio, Allen Johnson put a perfect light on the board and beat Greg Anderson on the hole-shot to win $50,000 in the 2008 K&N Horsepower Challenge.
The next race for the Pro Stockers will be at the NHRA nationals in Seattle,
Washington.
